Non-Alcoholic Beer Isn’t Just for the Sober Crowd

As I’ve been building SoberFan, I’ve considered that the name might sound like it was only for people who identify as sober. I actually don’t consider myself capital-s sober, but rather alcohol-free.

This site is for anyone choosing not to drink alcohol for a moment.

No matter the reason.

No matter the length of time.

Whether you’re taking a break, cutting back, alternating between drinks, pregnant, nursing, driving, or just curious, you’re welcome here.

One of the most exciting things happening right now is how quickly non-alcoholic beer is growing — and not just among the sober crowd. More and more fans are grabbing a non-alcoholic beer because they genuinely enjoy the taste, want to stay sharp, or just want to feel a little better the next day. It’s not about labels. It’s about options.

Let’s be real, O’Doul’s has had the majority market share for too damn long.

NA beer is moving out of the shadows and into the light — no longer something you have to whisper-order or drink with an explanation. It’s becoming normal. Expected, even.

And honestly, it should be. Why shouldn’t a designated driver get to enjoy a cold beer during the seventh inning stretch? Why shouldn’t a pregnant baseball fan be able to sip on something that feels festive? Why shouldn’t someone who’s training for a marathon still join in the tailgate vibes without derailing their goals?

Non-alcoholic beer is for everybody. For anyone who wants to enjoy the flavor, ritual, and refreshment of beer without the effects of alcohol. It’s for those who want to fully experience the moment.

That’s what SoberFan is here to support. Not just “sober” fans — but any fan who chooses a different drink.

Baseball is our specialty and the 2025 MLB season is in full swing.
