⚡ Pro Tip
We are super thankful that Comerica Park serves Blue Moon NA in a number of well-distributed locations for Tigers games.
Outside of NA beer, there aren’t many other fun alcohol-free drink options…
So here’s my tip…I buy and bring individual drink mix packets to add to my water to give myself something interesting and fun to sip on. SUPER budget-friendly.
- My favorite “mood-enhancing” mix is Nello Supercalm
- My favorite hydration mix is Liquid IV Sugar-Free
Nello Supercalm and Liquid IV + water + your free designated-driver soda = a nice variety of NA drinks for the game and you’re saving $$$.
🧊 Specialty Non-Alcoholic Drinks
- Lemonade – Sold at lemonade stands and food courts during warmer games
- Hot Chocolate & Coffee – Available at select vendors, especially during evening or cold-weather games
🥤 Widely Available Drinks
Pepsi beverages — including Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Aquafina, and Gatorade — are available at nearly every stand throughout Comerica Park.
🚫 Alcohol-Free Seating
There are no designated alcohol-free seating sections. Consider upper-level seating or family sections for a more subdued environment.
🧃 Designated Driver Program
The Detroit Tigers have a designated driver program. Register in the Ballpark app and you’ll receive a barcode that you can show at any Big League Grill for a free soda. You will also be entered into the Designated Driver drawing, which is held each game.
🍼 Mother’s Nursing Rooms
Comerica Park has two (2) Mamava pods:
- Section 130 – on the main concourse outside of section 130, right by the Guest Service Office
- Section 210 – behind the Guest Service Kiosk
You can access the Mamava pods two ways:
- Stop by the Guest Services near the pod and they will provide a code
- Download the Mamava app and unlock the pod within the app
👜 Comerica Park Bag Policy
Comerica Park recently updated their bag policy to be far more restrictive.
The policy simply states “no bags, backpacks, purses or clutches, other than those required for medical reasons”
So here’s what you can bring…
- Diaper Bags no larger than 16″ x 16″ x 8″ (see my note below)
- Single-compartment bags smaller than 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″. The key here is single-compartment.
- Medically necessary bags including breast pump bags or other medical necessities.
Since many diaper bags are essentially backpacks, and backpacks are technically not allowed at Comerica (or really any ballpark), my wife and I have discovered a little workaround: CONVERTIBLE Diaper Bags that can be used in backpack OR tote mode.
We use the Itzy Ritzy Dream Convertible Diaper Bag, which we bought on Amazon ->> https://amzn.to/43eiB28
The Itzy Ritzy Dream allows you to run it in tote mode when entering the ballpark and then utilize the backpack straps as needed once inside the field.
💧 Outside Drink & Outside Food Policy
Comerica Park has a stringent policy on outside food and drink.
- One factory-sealed, clear plastic bottle of unflavored water is allowed (bring some Nello Supercalm or Liquid IV Sugar-Free)
- Juice boxes are allowed as long as they are in your diaper bag or breast pump bag.
- No food allowed.
💧 Guest Services Locations
- Rocket Entry
- Section 131
- Section 210
- Section 330
