It’s Fall Y’all! Let’s talk NA Pumpkin Beers…
Fall means pumpkin everything, and beer is no exception. Non-alcoholic pumpkin beers sit in the 0.0-0.5% ABV range and lean on pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, or vanilla to bring that cozy autumn flavor. These are different from Oktoberfest or Märzen-style NA beers, which stick to malt and hops without added spice. Pumpkin NA beers usually show up in late summer and stick around through November. - Serving temp: 42-50°F helps spice aromatics bloom without messing with the carbonation.
- Glassware: nonic/pint or tulip/teku (for aroma) — personally I have these tulip pint glasses that are the best of both imo.
- Optional rim: A fun sugar — I like Portland Toast Sugar or Barrel Roll pumpkin-spice cocktail rimming sugar; You can do it using a small plate, but if you enjoy the ritual of drink prep than get yourself a salt rimmer board. Heck of a lot more fun
- Other fun s$it: Dedicated NA beer fridge, FIZZICS DraftPour Beer Dispenser (these are friggin sweet) bottle/can opener, coaster set, microfiber bar towel, glass-cleaning brush, spice grinder, reusable ice packs.
