Alcohol Medication

  • Drink Your Way Sober by Katie Herzog [Naltrexone] – A candid memoir and guide to overcoming alcohol use disorder via The Sinclair Method
  • The End of My Addiction by Olivier Ameisen [Baclofen] – A groundbreaking memoir by a French-American cardiologist who explored the use of baclofen, a muscle relaxant, as a treatment for alcohol use disorder. This book had a huge personal impact on me and led me to explore baclofen in my own recovery journey. While I’m not a doctor and I would never give medical advice, I think it’s an important read for anyone curious about pharmacological treatment options. I first learned about this book here.
