⚡ Pro Tip

Wrigley has a decent spread of NA beers…but if NA beer isn’t your thing, they don’t have a great selection of other fun alcohol-free drinks.

My pro tip is to bring individual drink mix packets to add to water bottles (which I’ll bring in from home, sealed)

So here’s the game plan: bring your drink mix packets and your own cold bottles of water from home, then hit-up Guest Services for your free designated driver soda, and you’ve got yourself a plethora of fun non-alcoholic beverages for the whole game.

🥤 Widely Available Drinks

Coca-Cola products are available at virtually every major stand throughout Wrigley Field.

Amazing, right?  Before we dig in more, do you need any last-minute gear for the game?

🚫 Alcohol-Free Seating

Wrigley Field does not have a true alcohol-free section. However, sections 501 & 502 are designated as the “Budweiser Good Sport Section”. These sections are geared towards those who like sitting in the bleachers, but prefer a less-rowdy experience.

🧃 Designated Driver Program

Visit any Fan Services Booth to sign up as a designated driver. Participants receive a voucher for a free soft drink. Fan Services is located in the main concourse behind home plate.

🤱Mother’s Nursing Rooms

Wrigley Field has one Mamava Pod located just inside Gallagher Way gate.

If the Mamava Pod is occupied and you need a private spot ASAP — go to Fan Services in the main concourse behind home plate and they should be able to direct you to a private space elsewhere.

👜 Bag Policy

  • Permitted Bags, which must be smaller than 16″x16″x8″, include wallets, purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases and soft-sided coolers
  • Bag size exceptions may be made for medical device bags or diaper bags that are larger
  • No backpacks, this includes no clear backpacks

⚡ Pro Tip -> Kayak Coolers

Kayak coolers are perfect for parks with a 16x16x8 bag limit.

The best bang for your buck is the Skywin Kayak Cooler.

Kayak coolers allow you to maximize Wrigley’s bag size limit, since they are wide and tall, yet narrow. They are soft-sided, plus they have bungee cords — and here’s the hack with those — use the bungee cords to attach the cooler to the bottom of your seat, which keeps the cooler off the ground and easily accessible during the game.

💧 Outside Beverage & Food Policy

  • Factory-sealed plastic bottles are permitted (water, soda, gatorade, etc)
  • A personal amounts of food are permitted
  • No glass bottles, no aluminum cans, no metal water bottles (yes, they will confiscate your Yeti)
  • No alcoholic beverages

Personal experience: Last game I went to, I brought in a 1-liter bottle of Diet Coke, as well as all my preferred snacks. I literally brought 4 pack of fully-cooked, smoked bison sausage, as well as bags of dried mango, figs, dates and a bar of nice organic dark chocolate. You can save a ton of money and eat like royalty.
